WABTA is sponsoring a Wounded Warrior event during the $125 July 20th Pewaukee Tournament this year. 3 Wounded Warriors will fish the tournament with 3 WABTA members acting as the guides. In other words, there will be 3 boats with 1) WABTA Guide and a 1) Warrior partner. All our tournament rules apply to the teams & the Guides must be a WABTA Member.
We believe this is good way for us to give back to the community, have a day of fun on the water, and brighten the lives of those who have sacrificed for us.

Where: Pewaukee, Sand Bar
Warriors: Purple Heart recipients who like to fish & are physically able to handle the boat and tournament experience.

Big changes instore for WABTA in 2013, WABTA is splitting into two different divisions in hopes of drawing some new teams that are interested in fishing tournaments at a reduced cost...but still having one large championship. Last year our no entry fee championship paid out $14,000.

The $300 division participants must fish 3 of the 4 events to be championship eligible and finish in the top 20% of the field in one of the events. Fish all 4 of the events and automatically qualify for the championship. The top 3 teams from the team of the year standings, excluding those that have already qualified, and have fished at least 3 events will also qualify for the championship. There is no entry fee for the championship for the $300 division.
